BrickOS is a programming language for the RCX. It requires an own firmware, but is therefor much more extensive and faster than RIS or NQC.
With CAD your robots can be made everlasting. You rebuild your models at the PC und can add a step by step instruction at the same time. Then realistic pictures can be produced with a suitable rendering-software.
There's an astir exchange betweeen LEGO Mindstorms Fans in the Internet.
The logical step after RIS and NQC! Also an programming language for the RCX, which requires its own firmware, but is therefor much more skilled.

Everything that belongs to programming but does not fit into any other group.
